Born this day in 1867, Sarah Breedlove Walker. The first woman to become a millionaire by her own achivement. An entrepreneur, businesswoman and philanthropist. Her professional name was Madam C.J. Walker.
At the time there were few products on the market for hair treatments. By experimenting with home recipes and other products on the market. She created her own line of beauty products for black women and was extremely successful. Sadly, she died at the age of 51.
